Presto Hunter Metal Black painted metal handles switchblade

Presto hunter switchblade with painted black metal handles. This knife was made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1955. It's the largest model that they offered measuring 5 inches closed and 8 5/8 inches open with steel liners. The blade is stamped PRESTO over Made in USA and is mostly full at around 95% with light scratches, mostly from sharpening. The painted metal scales are in excellent condition with nearly all of the paint intact. The knife functions well with the blade sitting deep, opens fully every time if you sweep the button as you press it, otherwise sometimes a little slow with regular press. Nice old hunter switchblade made in America. Great addition to any knife collection.
