PRESTO Fishtail Jigged bone vintage 1940s automatic knife #6000S EXTRA NICE

Vintage PRESTO Fishtail Jigged bone handled automatic knife model 6000S made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT in the 1940s or early 50s that's in wonderful condition. The knife measures 4 inches closed and 7.25 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver button and safety. The clip blade is 100% full with original finish and the tang is stamped PRESTO PAT JAN 30-40 MADE IN USA. The jigged bone scales (handles) are beautiful and in wonderful condition. The knife works well with blade tip centered and below the liners closed, good snap and very good lockup open with just a little movement at the tip likely the same as when it was new. Barely rattles if shaken when open. Safety does not work as some did not work when new. EX+ condition.
