PRESTO Fishtail #6000 Blue swirl celluloid vintage switchblade knife

Vintage Presto fishtail switchblade made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1929 and 1940. This knife was designated the model #6000. It measures 4 inches closed and 7 1/8 inches open with brass liners, steel button and nickel silver safety. The clip blade is 97% full with some of the factory finish intact with some peppering and small pit spots is marked PRESTO MADE IN USA on the front and G SCHRADE in an arch over B'PORT, CT on backside. The Blue swirl celluloid scales (handles) are in nice condition and very attractive. The knife works well with the blade tip seating below liners when closed, good snap and fair lockup open with 1/8" up and down at the tip. Does rattle if shaken when open. Safety works. EX- condition.
