PRESTO Fishtail #4500 Ivory celluloid 1940s vintage automatic knife

Vintage PRESTO Fishtail #4500 Ivory celluloid automatic knife with bolsters on one end made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1940 and 1956. It measures 4 inches closed and 7 3/16 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver top bolsters, button & safety. The clip blade is 97% full or better and mostly shiny with scratches and the tang is stamped PRESTO PAT JAN 30-40 MADE IN USA on the tang and GEO. SCHRADE KNIFE CO INC B'P'T CONN on the backside. The Ivory celluloid scales are very attractive and in nice condition with a few minor imperfections. Works well with blade tip even with liners closed, opens fully and locks with excellent lockup open. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. VG+ condition.
