Presto Derby Hunter switchblade with jigged bone scales made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1940 and 1956. It was designated the model 3500 and was the largest switchblade made by the company. This knife measures 5 inches closed and 8.75 inches open with steel liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety.  The blade is 99% full with some of the original factory finish, light patina and some scratches. Still has original copper beryllium spring. This knife functions great with the blade tip seating deep, strong snap and very good lockup open! Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. This is a really nice example of a harder-to-find PRESTO Derby. Safety works. EX+ condition.
