Vintage Presto cigar jack switchblade made by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1940 and 1956. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 6 inches open and it has brass liners. The blade is mostly full and shiny with light scratches and is stamped PRESTO over MADE IN USA and the rear is stamped G SCHRADE in an arch over B'PORT, CT. The celluloid handles (scales) are beautiful and in good condition with a nice patch on the rear scale. It works well with the blade tip seating deep when closed, good snap and good lockup with about 1/8" up and down at the tip. This knife will be featured in Antique American Switchblades 2 book. VG+ condition.
