PRESTO #3000 Large Hunter Jigged bone Vintage automatic knife near mint

Vintage PRESTO #3000 Large Hunter Jigged bone automatic knife made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1940 and 1956. This is the largest switchblade made by the company measuring 5 inches closed and 8 3/4 inches open with steel liners, bolsters and nickel silver button & safety. The gorgeous clip blade is 100% full with original finish a few light scratches and a couple of small light surface rust spots that could be cleaned off. The tang is stamped PRESTO PAT JAN 30-40 MADE IN USA on the front and GEO SCHRADE KNIFE CO INC B'P'T, CONN on the reverse. The jigged bone scales are nice with no cracks and very attractive. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered, good snap and TIGHT lockup open, just like when new. Safety works. Near Mint condition.
