PRESTO #3000 Large Hunter Jigged bone Vintage automatic knife

Vintage PRESTO #3000 Large Hunter Jigged bone automatic knife made by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT sometime between 1928 and 1956. This is the largest switchblade made by the company measuring 5 inches closed and 8 5/8 inches open with steel liners, bolsters, button & safety. The clip blade is 98% full or better and shiny with a few light scratches and a couple of small Rorschach rust spots . The tang is stamped PRESTO MADE IN USA on the front and GEO SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT, CONN on the reverse. The jigged bone scales are nice with no cracks and light in color. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered, good snap and excellent lockup open with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. Does rattle if shaken with blade open. VG+ condition.
