Antique Press Button Knife Co medium double advertising knife with Ivory celluloid handles (scales) made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923 and it was designated the model #107. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 6 13/16 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver buttons. It is the middle of three sizes of 2 blade automatic doubles made by the company. The blades both have some loss from sharpening with the blades being about 94% full with light scratches and some pitting. Both blades are marked PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY on the front of the tangs and backsides are blank. The smooth ivory cell scales are in good condition with some small handling/use marks. The front scale has "PUSH VICTOR CRYSTAL STARCH" and the back scale says THE KEEVER STARCH CO. COLUMBUS, OHIO. in black letters. The knife works well with both blade tips at, or below liners when fully closed, strong spring so both blades have kickback and both lock open with about 1/16" movement at the tips open. G condition.
