Antique Press Button Knife Co medium double with Ivory celluloid handles (scales). The knife was made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923 and it was designated the model #107. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 6 11/16 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver buttons. It is the middle one of three sizes of switchblade doubles made by the company. The blades both have some loss from sharpening, about 96% full with patina, light scratches and some spotting. Both blades are marked PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY on the front of the tangs and backside of large blade blank and small blade has US PAT 470605. The smooth ivory cell scales are in very good condition with some small handling/use marks. The knife works well with small blade tip below liners and large tip about 1/16" above the liners closed, good snap and great lockup. Small blade has kickback. VG condition.
