z PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO Sterling Silver Embossed Swirls antique automatic knife

Antique Press Button Knife Co Medium double Sterling Silver embossed swirls switchblade knife made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923 pattern 110SS. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 6 13/16 inches open with nickel silver liners and buttons. The blades are 99% full or better with original crocus finish with a few light scratches. Both blades are stamped PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY on the front tang and the backsides blank which means likely made between 1914 and 1923. The scales are Sterling Silver with embossed swirl borders & center and stamped STERLING and in very nice condition with patina. The knife works well with both blade tips below liners closed, strong spring and both blades open with some kickback, and both lock open position. Large blade has less than 1/8 up and down and small blade has just a tiny bit of up and down at the tip. Does rattle if shaken when open as most of these do. EX+ condition.
