PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO small double Sterling Gothic antique switchblade knife

Antique PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO small double Sterling Gothic switchblade knife made by the PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO of Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923. It measures 2 7/8" closed and 5 3/4" open with nickel silver liners. The blades are both nearly full with original crocus finish under a nice even coat of Patina. Both blades are stamped PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY. No patent number. The Sterling Silver scales are nearly perfect and have elaborate raised design with what looks like a tribal mask on the front. The knife works well. Both blades seat well, open fully and lock open tight! EX+ condition.
