Press Button Knife Co medium double MOP model 105 antique switchblade knife

Antique Press Button Knife Co medium double MOP pattern 105 switchblade knife made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923. It measures 3 3/8 inches closed and 6 9/16 inches open with brass liners and nickel silver buttons & pins. Spear/file blade combo with the spear point blade being 86% full, or better with patina and light pitting and the file blade is nearly full and in good condition. The tangs on both blades are stamped PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN, NY and the backsides US PAT 470605. The Mother of Pearl scales are Gorgeous with that OLD pearl luster. The knife works well with both tips even or below the liners closed, strong spring so both blades kick back, but both lock up well in the full open position with some movement at the tips. Rattles if shaken with blades open as most of these 100+ year old switchblades do. VG condition.
