Antique Press Button Knife Co medium double with Ivory celluloid handles (scales). The knife was made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923 and it was designated the model #107. The knife measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver buttons. It is the middle one of three sizes of switchblade doubles made by the company. The blades both have loss from sharpening over the years and heavy patina and some spotting. Both blades are marked PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY on the front of the tangs and backsides are blank. The smooth ivory cell scales are in good condition with some small handling/use marks and some brown stains. The knife works well with both blade tips below the liners closed, good snap and good lockup with some movement, especially on the small blade. Surprisingly there is no kickback when opening the blades. VG condition.
