PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO Mechanic's Jack Large 3 11/16 Bone Double Antique automatic

Antique PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO Mechanic's Jack Large Bone Double model #119 automatic pocket knife made in Walden, NY between 1892 and 1923. The knife measures 3 11/16 inches closed and 7 9/16 inches with both blades open and it has brass liners and nickel silver buttons & pins. It's a Clip/spear blade combination and both blades are 98% full or better and shiny with a few light pepper spots. Both blades are stamped PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN, NY on the tangs and the back sides are blank so likely made after 1912. The dyed jigged bone scales are gorgeous and have factory notch for thumb to have better control of the knife during use. The knife works well with both tips well below the liners closed, extra strong spring which causes kickback on both blades and both lock open with better than average lockup for a 100 year old switchblade with about 1/16" movement at each tip. Does rattle if shaken with the blades open. These large PBKC doubles are fairly rare and hard to find in any condition. VG+ condition.
