Antique PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO BUSINESS Spear point Ebony automatic knife made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923. It measures 3 15/16" closed and 6 11/16" open with steel liners and nickel silver bolsters & button. The spear point blade has been sharpened and is about 90% full and has been lightly cleaned leaving a shiny finish with light scratches and light pitting including the tang. Hard to read the Press Button Knife Co stamp on the front of the tang, but the back reads, US PAT 470605. The ebony scales are in very nice condition and also appear to have been lightly cleaned (sanded) with flush nickel silver pins. The knife was professionally repaired to correct a locking issue. It works well with the blade tip even with the liners closed, opens well and very good lockup. VG+ condition.
