Press Button Knife Co #202 medium double Tortoise celluloid automatic knife

Antique Press Button Knife Co model #202 medium double switchblade knife with tortoise celluloid handles made in Walden, NY sometime between 1892 and 1923. It measures 3 3/8" closed and 6 5/8 inches with both blades open and has brass liners and nickel silver buttons. It is the middle of three sizes of switchblade doubles made by the company. Spear/file blade combo, spear blade 92% full or better and sharpened with patina, peppering and spotting & file blade is full with heavy patina. Both blades are marked PRESS BUTTON KNIFE CO WALDEN NY on the front tangs and both have US PAT 470605 on the backside. The tortoise celluloid scales are in very good condition with no cracks, just a couple of scratches. The knife works well with both blade tips below the liners closed, good snap with kickback on the file blade which has excellent lockup, but the large blade is loose with 3/8" up and down. Rattles if shaken with blades open. VG- condition.
