PATENT VIRGINIA INOX 21cm Italian Trapdoor 1960s automatic knife

Vintage PATENT VIRGINIA INOX 21cm Italian Trapdoor 1960s automatic knife measures 21cm (8 1/4 inches) open with steel frame, bolsters & trapdoor and nickel silver button & safety. Flat grind swedge blade is mostly full (slight loss from sharpening) and shiny with light scratches and is stamped PATENT on the front ricasso and VIRGINIA INOX on the back side. The buffalo horn scales (handles) are mostly black with a little white streaking in good condition and are held on with brass pins. The knife works well with the blade opening fully when button is pressed (best if knife angled down when opening) and locks open with some movement at the tip as most of these do. Safety works.
