PASTOR ALEMAN Bird of Prey 21cm Italian OTF Black 1970s automatic DA knife

Vintage PASTOR ALEMAN Bird of Prey 21cm Italian OTF Black 1970s automatic DA knife made in Italy 1970s or 80s for export to Germany. Pastor Aleman means German Shepherd and the marking can be found on different models of switchblade knives made between 1960 and 1990s. This OTF has unusual Bird of Prey head shaped bolsters and narrow body. The knife measures 21.3cm (8 3/8 inches) open and 5 inches closed with non magnetic frame & bolsters. The flat grind blade is 98% full, or better with most of the original finish with some sharpening/grind marks along the edge and some light scratches and the ricasso is stamped PASTOR ALEMAN with picture of a dog's head in a circle on the front and reverse stamped STAINLESS STEEL. The black synthetic scales are in excellent condition with light handling marks. The knife works well with blade opening fully & locking when switch (button/knob) is pushed forward and fully retracts when pulled backward. EX- condition.
