PASTOR ALEMAN 20cm Black Cord pull Coil Spring vintage automatic knife

Vintage PASTOR ALEMAN 20cm Black Cord pull Coil Spring automatic knife sold in Mexico as a souvenir for tourists in the 1960s and 70s, most likely made in Japan, or possibly Mexico. The knife measures 19.5cm (8 3/4 inches) open and 4.5 inches closed with steel liners & backspring. The saber grind drop point blade is 98% full or better with much of the original finish and is marked PASTOR ALEMAN with outline of German Shepherd head. Pastor Aleman is Spanish for German Shepherd. The scales appear to be plastic and are textured and black in color. The knife works perfectly with the blade tip deep (held in place by release), strong snap and very good lockup. To open you pull on the leather cord. To close you pull forward on the blade, then fold. Neat knife in EX- condition.
