OTHELLO ROSTFREI 1960 23cm German Trap door Gravity knife military

Vintage 23cm German Military OTF Gravity knives were made in the late 1950s and 1960s for the German military by Anton Wingen company in Solingen Germany. This one measures 23cm (9 1/16 inches) open and 5.25 inches closed with a steel frame and nickel silver bolsters, lanyard ring, trapdoor and release lever. The blade appears to be 98% full or better with original finish and stamped on the face a bearded head outline over OTHELLO. The black scales are in good condition with some wear and lots of light scuffs/handling marks. German eagle crest on the rear scale shows a lot of pocket wear, but still visible. Some light imperfections on the bolsters and underside of the trapdoor is stamped IV 60 which means this one was made in 1960. Knife works great. Blade drops out if pointed down, trap door open and push button and falls back into the knife if pointed up when button pressed. VG+ condition overall.
