Old 24cm Italian Pattada Wood Brass Birds head vintage automatic knife

Old 24cm Italian Pattada Wood Brass Birds head vintage automatic knife made in Italy 1970s or 80s by Ottavio Massaro. This larger than usual pattada measures exactly 24cm (9 7/16 inches) open and 5 1/4 inches closed with steel liners and brass bolsters, button, safety and pins. The blade is 98% full or better and shows use & sharpening with heavy patina, scratches & spotting. Good old nicely used knife direct from Italy with no markings on the blade. The Wood scales are very dark in color and in good condition with no cracks or pieces missing, but lots of scratches and signs of years of use. The knife works great with blade tip below liners closed, strong snap and tight lockup open. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. VG+ condition.
