1960s Italian transitional stiletto marked Rostfrei and QJD in a circle on the front tang. The QJD is the mark of a French importer who purchased the knives from Italy to be sold in France. The knife measures 33.5cm (13.25 inches) open with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters button and safety cap. It has a flat grind swedge blade that is full with original factory finish with some light scratches. The horn scales are very in nice condition and are basically black with some light scuffs from handling. The knife works great with blade tip seating deep, strong snap and tight lockup. Safety works. Nice old Italian transitional made for the French market.
