Though the knife is marked No 6 Sheffield Steel, this knife was made in India most likely before 1960. The knife measures just under 24cm (9 3/8 inches) open with steel liners and brass bolsters and release lever. This knife has shell pullers built into the bolsters supposedly for extracting shotgun shells from old shotguns, but I don't think these are actually functional, just decorative. The flat grind spear point blade appears to be nearly full with light patina, some spotting and light scratches, but overall a decent blade. The horn scales are very dark brown with some tan and in decent condition. They do show signs of years of use and a few little nicks. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep, strong snap and average lockup. If you push on the tip it moves about 1/2 inch, but springs back to full open when you let go. This is another OLD switchblade knife with lots of character.
