Murakami Japanese bone lever switchblade NOS in box

This is one of the Japanese switchblades that were found in storage in a warehouse in Mexico in 2020. It was part of the switchblade inventory of a Mexican wholesaler that was put into storage in the late 1950s. There were also a lot of Italian switchblades and some German. This knife is in the original box that it came in from the factory and is New Old Stock, never sold retail. It does have a little bit of rust from years of storage, but otherwise basically a new knife. It measures 3.5 inches closed and 6.5 inches open with steel liners and brass bolsters and lever. It's marked Murakami Co over Stainless over Japan. Works like new. Comes with laminated Certificate of Authenticity. Great piece of Switchblade history!
