Maniago 27cm Italian Flat Guard Picklock Vintage 1940s automatic knife

Old 27cm Italian Picklock Flat guard automatic knife made in Maniago Italy in the 1940s. It measures 26.4cm (10.5 inches) open and 5 5/8 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button & safety cap. The bayonet style blade is 98% full, or better with heavy patina, light scratches and spotting with no maker's mark. The scales (handles) are pretty Brazilian multi colored horn with black, cream, tan & translucent green with one professional repair in the back scale. Interesting/unusual shaped locking tab. The knife works great with blade tip deep & centered, strong snap and excellent lockup. Does NOT rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. VG+ condition
