MANIAGO 23cm Italian Flatguard Wasp body Vintage 1930s automatic knife

Antique MANIAGO 23cm Italian Flatguard Wasp body automatic knife made in Italy in the 1930s. It measures 22.4cm (8 13/16 inches) open and 4.75 inches closed with non D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet style blade is 98% full or better with heavy patina and light peppering and the ricasso is stamped MANIAGO. The genuine horn scales are mostly Dark brown with a hint of streaking and in very good condition with handling marks from the past nearly 100 years. The knife works great with blade tip centered and below the liners closed, good snap and excellent lockup open. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. VG+ condition.
