Nice old Makinox French lever knife with horn handles. This knife measures 21cm open (8 1/8") and has brass liners and steel bolsters, lever and lanyard loop. The flat grind swedge blade is marked MAKINOX and is approximately 94% full with some of the original factory finish and is slightly bellied from sharpening with lots of scratches. The horn scales are mostly dark with a little streaking and are in fair condition with no cracks or chips. There are a lot of scuff marks from handling/use. The knife works great with the blade tip below the liners, strong snap and average lockup open with a little up and down movement at the tip. Very nice old French lever switchblade.
