This is a 1950s vintage Italian picklock. The knife measures 20.5cm ( just over 8 inches) open with brass D stamped liners and nickel silver bolsters, button & safety cap. The bayonet style blade is nearly full with patina and spotting and is stamped MADE ITALY on the ricasso. The buffalo horn scales range in color from black to green to cream with a little brown streaking and are in very good condition. The knife works good with blade tip even with the liners, good snap and good lockup with a little movement each way at the tip. The spring is a little short and hits on the blade edge when closing. Would be good idea to replace it someday, but works okay as it is. Safety works. EX- condition.
