MADE IN ITALY INOX 18cm Italian Swing Guard Vintage 1960s automatic knife

Vintage MADE IN ITALY INOX PATENT 18cm Italian Swing Guard horn switchblade w red dot safety made in the 1960s in Italy. It measures 18.1cm (7 1/8 inches) open and 3 7/8 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, guards, button & safety cap. The flat grind blade is 100% full with original finish and some light scratches and the ricasso is stamped MADE IN ITALY INOX the front and PATENT on the reverse. The genuine horn scales (handles) are mostly black and in very nice condition with short throw Red dot safety. The knife works well with the blade tip deep and centered closed, strong snap and excellent lockup with less than 1/16" of movement at the tip. No rattle if shaken with blade open. This is a backspring release knife so you have to push down on the tab part of the backspring near the bottom bolsters to close the knife. The safety works. EX condition.
