Russian RPK Dark Blue switchblade

Nice vintage Russian RPK (Russian Prison Knife) that measures 5.25 inches closed and 9.5 inches open with a one-piece bent frame. It is believed that these knives were made by inmates of Russian prisons back in the 1950s through the 1970s to be sold to raise capital for the prisons and given by prison personnel as bribes and gifts. They are all hand made and very unique and beautiful pieces of Russian cutlery Folk Art. Long slender knife with attractive dark blue synthetic scales. Very solid piece with good lockup. The button is pretty stiff, but I think it will soften a bit with use. Takes a strong push now.
