KEEN KUTTER medium Double Jigged Bone switchblade knife KS309

Vintage KEEN KUTTER medium Double Jigged Bone automatic knife pattern KS309 double switchblade made by Schrade Cut Co for the Shapleigh Hardware Company in the 1920s-40s. It measures 3 3/8" closed and 7 1/8 inches with both blades open with brass liners and nickel silver buttons and safeties. The main blade is stamped KEEN KUTTER and the pen blade is stamped US PATS DEC21, 09, SEPT 13, 10 and JUNE 6, 16. Both blades full, or nearly full with patina and some spotting. Jigged bone scales are gorgeous and in great condition. The knife works well with both blade tips below liners closed, both open fully with NO kickback and very good lockup on both blades open. Both safeties work. EX condition.
