KA-BAR #21105 Lever Stag 1940s vintage switchblade knife

Vintage Ka-bar lever knife with stag handles made by the Union Cutlery Co of Olean, NY most likely in 1940s and was designated the model 21105. The knife measures 4.5 inches closed and 8 1/16 inches open and has thick brass liners with nickel silver bolsters, lever & pins. The blade is 98% full or better with nice even patina, light scratches & a little light spotting and the tang is stamped KA-BAR REG US PATENT OFF on the front and backside is blank. The stag scales are in nice condition with no cracks or chips. The knife works great with the blade tip seating deep & centered closed, fast, full open and fair lockup with approx 1/16" movement at the tip. Does rattle if shaken with blade open. This mid-late production knife has grooves in the lever for better control.  VG+ condition.
