JCN CO Pullball 12K Gold filled Automatic knife w/ Pilot Wing emblem

Vintage 1940s JCN CO Pullball 12K Gold filled Automatic knife w/ Pilot Wing emblem. This knife was made for the Jewelry Cutlery Novelty Company under contract by the George Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT in the late 1930s or 40s. The knife was originally plated (filled) 12K gold, but has wear from use and pocket over the years. It has a pilot wings emblem on the front scale. It measures 2 7/8 inches closed and 4 13/16 inches open with steel frame, metal ball and gold plated shackle. The clip blade is mostly full and shiny with light scratches and a little pitting and is stamped J.C.N. Co PAT 11-9-37. The metal handles have a light line pattern and a signet to have initials engraved and a 3 dimensional Pilot's Wings emblem on the front scale. The knife works great. VG+ condition.
