JCN Co Gold pullball switchblade

This knife was made under contract by the Geo Schrade Knife Co of Bridgeport, CT for the Jewelry & Cutlery Novelty Co in the late 1930s and 40s. All of the JCN knives seem to have metal handles, some gold wash, some real gold and some other metal options. This one appears to be gold wash. The bail is engraved J&CN CO QUALITY. The blade is marked JCN CO PAT 11-9-37 and is full with all of the original factory finish. No other markings on the knife. The gold colored handles are in good condition with a light pattern and rectangular signet to engrave initials on the handle. The knife works great. Nice old American gentleman's switchblade.
