Japanese Bullfighter small 14cm White Gold Vintage lever switchblade knife Mexican Souvenir
Vintage Bullfighter lever knife made in Japan for the Mexican tourist trade between the late 1950s and into the 1970s. These were very popular with tourists and were made in three different sizes with different blade shapes, different colors and some variations on the scenes and are a lot of fun to collect. This knife is the harder-to-find smaller size measuring 14cm (5 7/16 inches) open with steel liners and brass bolsters, lever and pins. The flat grind clip blade is nearly full and unmarked. White background with gold dragon on the front and bullfighter/ matador scene on the back scale and looks like two small repairs on the edges by the center pin. The knife works well with the blade tip below liners closed, opens fully and locks open Tight. VG+ condition.
