ITALY STAINLESS 22cm Italian Stiletto Blue Pearlex swivel bolster automatic knife

Vintage ITALY STAINLESS 22cm Italian Stiletto Blue pearlex automatic kit knife most likely sold by Edge Co in the 1980s or 90s. Measures 22.2cm (8.75 inches) open with brass liners and steel bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet grind blade with nail nick is full and retains original factory finish and is marked ITALY STAINLESS on the ricasso (tang). Blue pearlex synthetic scales are very attractive and in nice condition. The knife works well with blade tip below liners and centered in the well, good snap and Tight lockup open. Swivel bolster release to close. Most likely sold as a "kit knife" where the spring had to be installed by the new owner by slipping a brass pin through brass lined holes in the scales and peening the ends to hold the spring in place. Safety works. EX+ condition.
