ITALY INOX 33cm Italian Picklock Horn Vintage 1950s automatic knife

Vintage 1950s M ITALY INOX 33cm Italian picklock switchblade knife measures 33.3cm (13 1/8 inches) open with D stamped brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet style blade is stamped M ITALY INOX in an oval on the ricasso and is full with much of the original finish still intact with patina and light scratches. This knife is extra heavy with 5mm wide backspring. The genuine buffalo horn scales are in very good condition with a bug bite at the bottom of the rear scale and the front is mostly black with some  brown streaking & the back is translucent green and cream with some black. The blade tip is just below the liners and centered, good snap and very good lockup with less than 1/32" up and down at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. Nice old 13 inch 1950s Italian picklock! The name picklock refers to how the knife is closed. You pick (lift) the locking tab with your thumbnail to release the blade to be closed. Safety does not work. VG condition.
