Nice old Italian swing guard with stag scales with Gustav Brenner stamp of head holding knife in teeth with G & B for ears. The knife measures 20.5cm (8 inches) open and has brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, guards, button and safety cap. The spear point blade is 100% full with all of the original factory finish with a few very light scratches and is stamped Rostfrei on the rear ricasso (tang). The gnarly stag scales are in Great condition with no cracks or chips and great Aged look. The knife works great with blade tip below liners when closed, STRONG snap and good lockup. Safety works. Super nice example of one of the smaller vintage Italian stag swingers with a special stamp. The Gustav Brenner knives were made to a little higher standard than comparable Italian switchblades in the day.
