This is an Italian BOBC (button open, button close) knife marked INOX, commonly referred to as a "card knife" due to the fact that they were often sold to tourists off of display cards that held 4 or more knives. They were mainly to be souvenirs for tourists and I believe that they were made mostly in the 1960s and 70s. The knife measures 18cm open (7 inches) and has steel liners. The flat grind clip blade has a swedge on the front and is stamped INOX. Blade is nearly full with the original factory finish intact with some light scratches, mostly on the back of the blade. The handles are hollow steel with wraps featuring a bridge on the back side and a gondola on the front with the words Ricordo di Venizia and are in good aged condition. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep in the blade well closed, strong snap and tight lockup. Safety does not work properly. Nice little Venice Italy tourist switchblade.
