IRN Ich Rostenie PATENT ROSTFREI 21cm Italian Trapdoor vintage 1960s switchblade

Vintage IRN Ich Rostenie PATENT ROSTFREI Italian Trapdoor OTF automatic knife made in Italy in the 1960s. This beautiful knife measures 21.1cm (8 5/16 inches) open and 4 13/16 inches closed with nickel plated brass frame, bolsters, steel trapdoor and nickel silver button and safety cap. The blade is 98% full or better and retains all of the original finish with some sharpening and slightly blunted tip and is marked IRN Ich Rostenie inside a triangle on the front ricasso and PATENT ROSTFREI on the rear. The Green & Cream genuine horn scales are in very good condition with a tiny pin crack, tiny bug bite and just a few light handling marks and are held on with brass pins. The knife functions great. Blade flies open and locks when button is pressed and blade releases to close when button is pressed again. Final step is to use the trapdoor to reset (cock) the blade so it's ready to open again.
