IRN Ich Rosteine PATENT ROSTFREI Italian Trapdoor vintage 1960s switchblade knife. This beautiful knife measures just over 21cm open with stainless steel frame, bolsters and trapdoor and nickel silver button and safety cap. This knife is New Old Stock from an old shop find in Italy a few years ago. The blade is full and retains all of the original finish and is marked IRN Ich Rosteine inside a triangle on the front and PATENT ROSTFREI on the rear. Black horn scales are in excellent condition with just a few light handling marks and are held on with brass pins. The knife functions great. Blade flies open and locks when button is pressed and blade releases to close when button is pressed again. Final step is to use the trapdoor to reset (cock) the blade so it's ready to open again.
