z INOX Vintage 27cm French Stag Large Coffin Knife switchblade

This is the Large French Coffin knife with stag scales. Named the Coffin knife due to the shape resembling one type of coffin, this one measures 27cm (10 5/8") open with Aluminum liners, steel bolsters and lever and brass lanyard ring. The blade appears to be 100% full and shiny with original factory finish and is stamped simply INOX on the tang. The stag scales are beautiful and in good condition with a few hairline cracks near the back of the knife near the brass lanyard ring and held on with nickel silver pins. Looks like someone put a little glue in one crack. I don't think they're likely to get worse. You can see in the pics. The knife works GREAT with the blade tip seating Deep, opens fully and LOCKS UP TIGHT! You have to push down Firmly when closing the blade so it locks in. Other than a few light scratches on the blade this knife is very nice. EX condition.
