Inox (slant) PATENT 28cm Italian Swing Guard Vintage automatic knife

Vintage Inox (slant) PATENT 28cm Italian Swing Guard automatic knife made in Italy in the 1960s or early 70s. It measures 27.4cm (10 13/16 inches) open and just under 6 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, guards, plated button & safety cap. The flat swedge blade is 96%% full or better with some original factory finish still intact with light scratches and the ricasso is stamped Inox diagonally (slant) on the front and PATENT on the reverse. The genuine horn scales are mostly black with a little bit of cream streaking on the back scale with some handling marks a couple of scratches and one tiny bug bite on the back scale by a pin. Bolsters have some minor dings that can be seen in the pics. The knife works well with the blade tip below liners closed, strong snap and very good lockup with just a hint of movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open. This is a backspring release knife so you have to push down on the tab near the bottom bolsters to close the knife. The safety works. VG+ condition.
