Inox (slant) PATENT 28cm Italian Swing Guard Vintage automatic knife

Vintage INOX PATENT 28cm Italian Swing Guard Vintage automatic knife made in Italy in the 1960s or early 70s. It measures 27.8cm (11 inches) open and just under 6 inches closed with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, guards, button & safety cap. The flat swedge blade is 100% full with original factory finish still intact with a few light scratches and the ricasso is stamped Inox diagonally (slant) on the front and PATENT on the reverse. The genuine horn scales are mostly black with a little bit of cream streaking on the back scale with some handling marks. The knife works well with the blade tip deep & centered closed, strong snap and good lockup with less than 1/16" movement at the tip. Does not rattle if shaken with blade open (except for the guards). This is a backspring release knife so you have to push down on the tab near the bottom bolsters to close the knife. The safety works. EX condition.
