ZOPPIS INOX CIZ TRADEMARK ITALY 33cm Italian picklock 1950s vintage knife
INOX CIZ TRADEMARK ITALY 33cm Italian picklock 1950s vintage knife. Rare CIZ marking and 5mm thick back spring/blade make this a VERY desirable old Italian switchblade to collectors. CIZ stands for Industria Coltellerie Zoppis, an actual maker of knives in the 1950s. It measures 33cm (13 inches) open with D stamped brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. The bayonet style blade is nearly full and retains the original factory finish and is stamped INOX on the front and CIZ TRADEMARK ITALY on the backside of the ricasso. A few pepper spots and a little pitting on the rear ricasso, but overall a great blade. There are three small dings in the front bottom bolster, not bad. The black horn scales are in very good condition with no bug bites, or cracks and it has a short throw safety. The knife works great with blade tip deep and centered, strong snap and TIGHT lockup open! Safety works. EX- condition.
