Vintage 33cm Italian picklock from the 1950s. It measures 33cm (13 inches) open with brass D stamped liners & nickel silver bolsters, button and safety cap. This knife is extra heavy with 5mm wide backspring. The name picklock refers to how the knife is closed. You pick (lift) the locking tab with your thumbnail to release the blade to be closed. The flat grind swedge blade is 99% full with original factory finish and a few light scratches and is tamped INOX inside a rounded rectangle. The horn scales are dark, basically black with a little tan & cream streaking and are in excellent condition. The blade tip seats below the liners when closed, good snap and good lockup open with a little up and down, approx 1/8" at the tip. Safety works. Nice old 13 inch 1950s Italian picklock!
