INOX 27cm French Coffin Lever knife Faux stag automatic knife

Vintage INOX 27cm French Coffin Lever knife Faux stag automatic knife. This is the Large French Coffin knife with imitation stag scales so named because the shape resembles one type of coffin. Measures 26.7cm (10.5 inches) open and 5 7/8 inches closed with Aluminum liners, steel bolsters and lever and lanyard ring. The spear point blade appears to be 98% full or better with lots of light scratches and is stamped simply INOX on the tang. The Faux (imitation) stag scales are very attractive and in good condition. The knife works GREAT with the blade tip below liners closed, opens fully and locks open with a little movement when you push on the blade tip, about 1/8 inch which is average. VG+ condition.
