INOX 247 19cm French Fishtail Black checkered rectangular button vintage automatic knife made in France 1960s or 70s. The knife measures 18.9cm (7 7/16 inches) open and 4 1/8 inches closed with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, lanyard and safety cap and steel rectangular button. The flat swedge spear point blade is 99% full or better with original finish and the ricasso is stamped INOX 247 inside a hexagon. The black checkered synthetic scales are excellent condition with just a bit of shrinkage. The knife works well with blade tip below liners closed, strong snap and excellent lockup with about 1/16" down at the tip that springs back when you let go. No rattle if shaken with blade open. Safety works. EX condition.
