INOX 247 17cm French Fishtail black checkered vintage automatic Button open, Button close knife most likely made in the 1970s or 80s in France. The knife measures 16.6cm (6 3/8 inches) open and 3 9/16 inches closed with brass liners, steel rectangular button and nickel silver safety cap. The swedge blade is about 97% full, or better with patina and light scratches. The black synthetic checkered scales are in very good condition with slight shrinkage and slight pocket wear. The knife works well with blade tip below liners closed, good snap and good lockup with about 1/8" down at the tip that springs back when you let go. No rattle when shaken with blade open. Safety works. VG condition.
